By using the Abeen app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the app.

1. What Abeen is

Abeen is an educational app that helps you prepare for the cooperative societies certification exam in the State of Kuwait. It provides explanations grounded in the text of the law and its regulations, automatically generated practice questions, and a record of your progress.

2. Accuracy of content

• Some practice questions and their explanations are generated by artificial intelligence and may be wrong. We review what is reported and correct it; the report button inside each question is the fastest route.
• We work to keep the displayed legal text faithful to its source and to attribute every answer to its provision, but we do not warrant that it is free of error or that it reflects any legislative amendment immediately.
• Passing the exam is your responsibility, and we promise no particular outcome. Any score or estimate the app shows measures your performance inside the app only.

3. Your account

• The account is personal. It may not be shared, sold, or made available to anyone else.
• You are responsible for protecting your means of access and for all activity through your account.
• You must be at least eighteen years old.
• Accepting the Privacy Policy is a condition of running the app.

4. Subscription and payment

• The subscription renews automatically and is charged to your store account within twenty-four hours before the end of the current period, unless you cancel before then.
• Cancellation is done in the store, not in the app: on iPhone from Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android from Google Play → Subscriptions. Access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
• Refunds are governed by the policy of the store you purchased from and must be requested from it directly; we are not able to issue them.
• We may change the price in future. A change does not apply to a period already paid for, and you will be notified before renewal.
• Free features may change or end, and are not part of the paid subscription.

5. Acceptable use

The following are prohibited:

• Copying, republishing or selling the app's content, or building a competing product from it.
• Extracting the questions or the question bank automatically, or attempting to circumvent usage limits.
• Accessing the servers or APIs other than through the app itself.
• Misusing the chat for anything other than learning, or entering other people's personal data.

6. Intellectual property

The texts of laws and regulations are public material issued by their official bodies. The arrangement of the content, its explanations and questions, the app's interface, its name and its mark are ours, and are licensed to you personally, non-exclusively and non-transferably, for as long as your subscription is active.

7. Interruption of service

• We may suspend an account that breaches these terms or harms the service or its users.
• The service may be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons outside our control; we do not warrant uninterrupted availability.
• You may stop at any time; deletion is explained in the Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, nor for the outcome of an examination or a decision taken in reliance on the app's content. In all cases our total liability does not exceed what you actually paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms, and will notify you in the app before any material amendment takes effect. Continuing to use the app after it takes effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
